Deaf Can Dance

Deaf Can Dance began DJ-ing in 2005 and since that time has to become one of the most renowned DJ's in Poland. Phil was born with a significant hearing loss, forcing him to wear deaf aids which led to him creating an alias, “Deaf Can Dance”, to promote the downtempo scene, and overcome the challenges he faced.
As he said about himself: “I never wanted to be perceived as a person with hearing difficulties. I wanted to be treated the same as everyone else. For a very long time, even my friends were unaware of my dysfunction and using the deaf aids. But, over time, I noticed that I had gained a greater distance towards this situation, changing my weakness into my strength. The main idea of this project is a musical trip through the world of sounds - unusual and uncommon ones."
